Lake Patrol
Lake Patrol enforces all state and local laws on the water and responds to incidents on land from the water as well. This division has three boats assigned to it that patrol the waters of Lake Norman. Housed in the Catawba County Sheriff’s satellite office located at 8456 Sherrill’s Ford Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673, this unit provides boater safety classes and offers the use of its meeting room to local nonprofits.
