Adult Children of Aging Parents: Legal and Financial Documents

This program is designed to inform participants about the advanced care documents that ensure one’s wishes regarding care, medical intervention, and finances are carried out, regardless of the person’s ability to make in-the-moment decisions for him- or herself. These documents provide peace of mind, help families avoid disagreements and guilt, as well as clarify the role of the Power of Attorney. Kim Whitley of Patrick, Harper & Dixon will make us aware of the advantages, the terminology and what is truly necessary.
