Stretch for Health-Meditate for Mindfulness

Combining stretching with meditation may benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can do these exercises while sitting in a chair or bring a mat/towel for floor routines. While this class is geared to 50+, adults of all ages are invited to join.

Adult STEAM Field Trip

Join us for a tour of the Materials Recovery Facility (known as a MRF) located in Conover, NC. This facility processes all household recycling in Catawba County, as well as for many surrounding areas. This tour highlights how modern landfills and recycling centers work together to provide sustainable solutions for the communities they serve. As public consumption of products and packaging is on the rise, it is more important than ever to keep recycling correctly and practice good habits. Learn how you can help improve our recycling system by being a better recycler. Ages 16+ Closed-toed shoes required.
