Calling all rising 6-8 graders! 
Become a Digital Superhero at the Main Library in Newton. At these sessions you will increase your digital literacy superpowers to stay safe online, guard against cyberbullying and misinformation. There are four sessions that will run from 6-7:30 pm and include dinner.

Zumba Mondays!
Mondays at 6 pm

Kick off your week with a burst of Zumba, a dance and movement class that’s too much fun to call exercise. It’s appropriate for every skill and ability level and open to anyone 14+ (parental signature required for teens under 18). 

Gentle Flow Yoga

A certified yoga instructor will lead us through a beginner-friendly, gentle flow yoga class. You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or towel as well as a small blanket. 

Stretch for Health-Meditate for Mindfulness
Fridays at 4 pm
St. Stephens Branch Library

Combining stretching with meditation may benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can do these exercises while sitting in a chair or bring a mat/towel for floor routines. While this class is geared to 50+, adults of all ages are invited to join. 

STEAM: Soapmaking

Career Aware Job Fair

In partnership with the Goodwill Career Center and NC Works, healthcare employers from across the Catawba Valley will be on site to speak with job applicants. Take advantage of this opportunity to turn in a resume, complete an online application, and possibly get an interview all in one afternoon. Industries other than healthcare will also have representatives on site.

Needle Felting
