Explore Asian Cultures in Virtual Teen Program
Published: June 17, 2021
Teens, are you a fan of K Pop and J Pop? Do you love anime and manga? How about bulgogi and sushi?
If you’re intrigued by all things Asian, the Catawba County Library encourages you to participate in a virtual discussion to share what you’re into and what you’d like to learn more about. The ‘Passport to Asian Cultures’ program takes place at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 22; register at tinyurl.com/CatCoPassport or by calling 828-465-8665.
Along with a deep dive into the cultures of the East, you can find out how to become a pen pal or learn a different language with free online programs. By signing up for the session, you can also claim your own mini Zen garden (while supplies last) and assemble it with other participants via Zoom.
The session will offer plenty of time for conversation and talking about topics you’d like to explore. It’s a free-form environment for learning, connecting, and being inspired by other people’s interests and experiences. Bring your curiosity and see where the discussion leads!
