What is your favorite experience or project from your internship?
Every day is a favorite experience! I’m always learning something new every day and that makes it really enjoyable.

How did your mentor/supervisor inspire or help you to grow during your internship?
My mentor, Drew, is the definition of a walking encyclopedia. His knowledge in IT is vast and is quick to solve IT issues. He’s been really generous on sharing his knowledge and experiences in IT. There’s a lot to take in but I enjoy it. He’s not afraid to give me the driver’s seat in troubleshooting issues and uses them as learning opportunities to help me grow.

My supervisor Stephanie is supportive and has my best interest at mind. She is always on the lookout for opportunities to broaden my horizons and will include me every chance she gets.

I’m blessed to have interned for Drew and Stephanie as they both have been crucial to my growth.

What do you do like to do for fun in Catawba County?
Fish! There’s a lot of fishing you can do here in Catawba County. Can’t tell you my secret spot though!
