Cost Share Programs
Catawba SWCG provides access to several state and federal cost share programs, as detailed below.
The NCACSP addresses nonpoint source pollution on agricultural land by assisting with the funding of Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as; Fencing, Wells, Watering Systems, Mortality Management and Stream Crossings.
The purpose of the AgWRAP program is to improve water efficiency and address water quantity issues on agricultural land by implementing BMPs such as wells, drip irrigation and pond sediment removal.
The CCAP program addresses water quality concerns on non-agriculture lands such as residential, commercial and public properties by implementing BMPs such as cisterns, rain gardens and bio-retention areas.
The USDA offers a wide array of cost share and incentive programs to address natural resource concerns on agricultural lands.
