Briefly describe your job. What do you do?  
As a Planner, primarily I assist the public with their planning and zoning needs.

What is a typical workday like for you?  
It really depends on the day and what the needs are of our customers when they come into the office! Typically, my day consists of assisting the public with general questions about zoning and processing zoning permit applications. 

What is your favorite aspect of your job – what do you enjoy doing most?  
My favorite aspect of my job is my interactions with the public – so many different personalities!

What is the County core value you believe most relates to the work you do, and why?  
Doing what matters most – this entails service to others and that is the bulk of my job.

What do you like best about working for Catawba County?
What I value most about working for Catawba County is the people. The employees and leadership genuinely care, and I am fortunate to work with an incredible team that feels more like family than coworkers. The support, teamwork, and genuine care we have for one another truly make Catawba County a great place to work.
