Catawba County was recently ranked 5th in the nation for severity of opiate use. Even so, the signs of addiction are not familiar to many of us. This session with Candice Moore of The Cognitive Connection will teach us to recognize the signs in people around us and help us understand the first steps we can take. In partnership with CVCC's community read of Sam Quinones' novel Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic.
