Make Quick, Healthy Meals & Snacks

Low carb? Low fat? Keto? Paleo? There are as many diets as there are days in the year! But how do you make sense of them?
We’ve invited Renee Greene, wellness dietician at Catawba Valley Health Systems, to the Library to help us with quick, healthy menu planning and recipes. She’ll go over the nutritional essentials we should consider, and she’ll also comment on what the various popular diets do well or might need to have adjusted.
The overall idea is to make eating a less stressful, more pleasurable event and to spend more of the summer months having fun instead of being consumed with meal prep and lengthy cooking regimens.
