Double Major: History and Political Science with a minor in Public Policy- UNC-Chapel Hill

What was your favorite experience or project from your internship?
It was really impactful to have the opportunity to sit in on a portion of jury selection and the trial for a very important case early on in my internship. It really helped to cement my motivation for pursuing a legal career.

How did your mentor/supervisor inspire or help you grow during your internship?
The Legal Department did a wonderful job highlighting the array of cases and departments they work with. I really enjoyed getting to see how important their role is within the County amongst so many different areas. They were also extremely helpful with answering questions I had respective to the law and what a legal career looks like.

What do you like to do in Catawba County?
This summer I spent a lot of my free time hiking and running. Catawba County has a great parks and trail system, that I recommend everyone go explore.
