STATE PUBLIC HEALTH DENTAL HYGIENIST

(No Fee)

The Public Health Dental Hygienist for the State of North Carolina helps to link Catawba County residents to resources that assist in the prevention of dental disease. Primary responsibilities to area elementary schools include: dental screenings; referrals and follow-up to targeted grades; and coordinates and supports the mouth rinse program in targeted schools. Also coordinates the Give Kids A Smile Program - a dental sealant program for underserved children. Provides education programs to schools and community groups upon request. Contact Cindy W.
