transportation.

Created upon recommendation of the
Transportation Development Plan Steering
Committee in February 1996.
Mission
Statement: This task force will be
given the charge of supervising the
Catawba County Transportation Study.
The study will evaluate all existing
transportation resources, potential
users, and unmet needs. It will include
a countywide route and schedule analysis,
a cost benefit analysis of a coordinated
transportation system, and will develop
a budget for implementation of a
system. Upon completion of these
tasks, scheduled for August 1996,
the TAB will report its findings
and make recommendations to the atawba
County Board of Commissioners concerning
matters related to human service
transportation.
