The designation of agricultural districts raise public awareness of agricultural activities, support the continued viability of local agriculture and help local government officials identify active farming communities. Public notice for approved districts is proposed through signage on the property, identification in the County’s computerized real estate map system (GIS), maps and notices in public offices and on recorded plats.
