(10 members) Number appointed by Board of Commissioners: 10 Term: 2-year terms Categories: The Subdivision Review Board consists of the County Planner, Environmental Health Program Administrator, Director of Utilities & Engineering, Director of Emergency Services, the superintendent of the school system serving the subdivision being reviewed, the County E-911 Coordinator, a representative of the Home Builders Association of Hickory-Catawba Valley and a citizen at-large. Reviews major subdivision plats, allowing the Planning Board to spend more time addressing long-range planning issues.
