TRUSTEES
- Number appointed by the Board of Commissioners: 2 from each department
- Required by NCGS 58-84-30
- Safeguards firefighters in active service from financial hardship, provides for the dependents of firefighters who lose their lives in service to their town and/or county, and for destitute member firefighters who served honorably for at least five years.
