All materials including DVDs and videos may be renewed one time if there is not a hold on the item for another library patron. You can renew materials by either bringing them to your nearest library branch or by calling us on the phone. It is also possible to renew items via the Internet, if you do not have more than one item already overdue. If you encounter any problems renewing online, please call us for assistance.

To renew online you will need your library card number and a PIN number. If you do not have a PIN number yet, click here for instructions on how to sign-up for your PIN number.

Once you have a PIN number follow these instructions to renew materials:

• Log on to the Catawba County Library Catalog Home Page at http://library.catawbacountync.gov/catawba/default.asp.

• Select the " My Account" Tab located on the top right side of the page.

• Enter your library card number and your PIN number. Click on the "Submit Request" button.

Your itemized account will include your address, phone number, items checked out, fees applied to the account, and the status of your Hold Requests.

To renew an item, check the box by the title and select "Renew Checked Items". Please call your branch library if you encounter any trouble renewing materials online.
