Friends of the Catawba County Library

Membership in the Friends of the Catawba County Library System allows you the opportunity to volunteer and work with other dedicated people who share your enthusiasm for the library and all that it offers the community.

The Friends of the Library:

Act as ambassadors for literacy
Develop and sponsor library programs
Participate in children's reading programs
Raise funds through membership drives, books sales, and other projects
Provide community outreach and library promotion

All of these activities provide support and improve the services offered by the Catawba County Library System. Meetings are held monthly at various library branches, but you need not attend the meetings to be a member. Active membership is encouraged, but financial gifts are greatly appreciated!
