| Thousands of families and children are
served in a variety of programs through the Family and Children’s Services Division.
Some of these services are mandated by law and some are voluntary. Services are provided
to groups, families and individuals at home, in school and other community settings.  Our
mission: To ensure and strengthen a family’s capacity to protect and nurture
their children while maintaining the safety of those children in their own homes or in an
appropriate alternative arrangement.
Our vision: All Children in Catawba County will grow up in a safe, nurturing,
permanent and protected environment.
