| Backpack Program |

The Backpack Program provides a backpack filled with food to elementary students who are eligibile for free and reduced school lunch. The backpacks are sent home with these students every Friday throughout the school year, as long as they are eligible. Volunteers pack bags each week and deliver them to the school. This Program is 100% funded by donations received from individuals, churches, and businesses.

Donations of new and gently used children's books help restock the Children's Book Station in the Food Assistance office. Each month, thousands of families with young children visit this office. Children may read these books during their visit and may take home a book if they wish. Financial donations are also accepted.

Donations provide children in foster care with the extras that make life memorable, such as school pictures, band instruments, piano lessons, field trips, ballet lessons, and Christmas gifts.
