Family NET of Catawba County provides mental health and behavioral health services to children and adolescents. Family NET offers an array of services and has expertise in meeting the specific needs of children and adolescents. Monitoring clinical outcomes is vital to success in the treatment of children/adolescents and insures the quality of our programs. Services are provided in an office setting, schools, home, and community. Family NET is nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is a certified Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency.

Staff

Family NET staff include licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, counselors, psychiatrists, and qualified professionals. Our staff receive ongoing training in cultural awareness, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices.

Evidence-Based Practices

Family NET utilizes several nationally recognized evidence- based practices to promote success for a diversity of consumers. Family NET utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Developmental Therapies/ Development Teaching Model, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy.

Annual training in the evidence-based practice selected for that specific service is required for all staff.

Family NET also utilizes additional family clinical assessment tools to identify strengths, areas requiring improvement, and the dynamics of the family.

Treatment Approach

Person Centered Planning plays a significant role is developing a treatment plan. Consumers are actively involved in identifying goals for treatment. Additionally, any and all natural supports which the consumer desires to be involved in this planning process may have input.
