“ I did not have the finances to purchase another vehicle and probably would have had to find a different job where I could use public transportation. I was told about the Work and Ride program and applied. In a relatively short amount of time, I was awarded the car that was so graciously donated. This car provides me with the ability to stay employed and also to provide safe transportation for the mentally handicapped clients that I transport in my working capacity.
