OUR MISSION

To provide residential solid waste collection and disposal services to County residents, provide and encourage the use of recycling services and disposal of household hazardous waste, and educate the public in waste reduction methods.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION INFORMATION

The Catawba County Recycling Program includes curbside collection from Garbage Disposal Service, Inc. (GDS) through Solid Waste's Franchise Agreement. Garbage Disposal Service collects solid waste and recyclables from the unincorporated areas of Catawba County.

To arrange for curbside collection of solid waste and recyclables, contact GDS at (828)256-2158.
