2009 Winners

The Speech competition and awards banquet was held February 5, at the First United Methodist Church in Newton. Catawba County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors; Glenn Fulbright, James Hardin, Kelly Hoke, and Gene Wilson presented the awards.

The North Carolina Association of Soil and Water Districts sponsors this yearly competition in which students advance from local to state level competitions presenting entries based on a designated conservation theme.
