The Lake Patrol unit is currently assigned two patrol vessels. A 2001 22ft McKee Craft center console, and a 1993 21ft Dixie cuddy cabin. Both units are equipped with communications equipment consisting of VHF, Marine VHF, UHF and cell phones. Other electronic equipment that can be found on the patrol units is GPS with Mapping, sonar, portable alcohol breath sensors, and radiological monitoring equipment. The unit also includes several Wave Runners provided through the Yamaha Law Loan Program. These small and versatile craft are used for special events and shoreline patrol during light boat traffic.
