The Finance Department currently contracts with EMS Management & Consultants in Lewisville, NC, to provide services for ambulance billing. This includes all patient billing as well as the filing of Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance. EMS Management & Consultants accepts payment by check or credit card.

For dates of service from 10/18/1999 to 10/31/2001, please call 1-800-635-7201, ext. 2830.

For dates of service prior to 10/18/1999 or for general questions, please call the Finance Department at 828/465-8216.

Accounts with unpaid balances are referred to a collection agency. The Finance Department also uses the State Tax Refund Debt Setoff program where unpaid amounts can be deducted from North Carolina State Income Tax refunds.
