If you have other pets at home, make sure that they will get along with your new pet.
Are you aware of your local Animal Services Ordinances? If not check them out by
clicking here.
Make sure no one in your household is allergic to animals.
Be sure to pick a pet that fits your lifestyle. Be sure that you have the time and energy to care for a pet.
Have you considered the adoption of an older pet? They are calmer and maybe be housebroken.
Do you have the supplies needed for your new pet? Are you sure that you will be able to make the financial commitment needed to care for your new pet?
Do you have a Veterinarian? If not, you will need to choose one to care for your pets medical needs.
