Catawba County offers two fenced dog parks where dog owners can recreate with their pets off leash. Dog parks include waste stations, benches, tables, and shelters to protect users from the sun or rain. Entrances are double gated for safe leashing and unleashing. There are considerable changes in topography that will help enhance your dogs’ exercise possibilities. Riverbend’s 2-acre Dog Park is a wooded and grassed area, while St. Stephen’s Dog Park is a 1-acre grassed area. Both have shelters to protect visitors from the sun or rain.
